We offer a full range of climate-controlled, interior access units to fit every need, from compact 4x5 units for boxes and seasonal items to expansive 25x40 units suitable for large equipment or the contents of an entire home. Every unit is temperature-regulated year-round, protecting your belongings from Florida's heat and humidity. Yes, every unit needs a lock. You are welcome to bring your own, or you can pick one up in the office when you move in.
If you would rather use your own, a disc lock or a closed shackle padlock is the better choice. Both are far harder to cut than a standard padlock. You hold the key either way.
No. You do not need a reservation to rent at Edgewater Self Storage. You can complete the whole rental online, or call us and we will do it over the phone, whenever you are ready.
What is worth doing is renting ahead of your move. Pick your move-in date, sign the lease and finish the paperwork online now, and your unit is held and waiting for you on the day. Nothing left to sort out later.
Your access information is sent to you on your move-in day, so there is nothing to collect and no office visit to plan around. You arrive, let yourself in, and unload.

Drive-up storage spaces are located outside so you can literally drive right up to them. These spaces allow you to easily unload and load your vehicle, making it a breeze to put stuff in, or take stuff out of your storage space. These are convenient spaces if you know you're going to store belongings that would be difficult to carry in and out of a building, especially when those buildings have multiple floors.
Climate-controlled spaces maintain the ambient temperature within them between 50 and 80 degrees and the humidity between 30% and 50%. These temperature and humidity levels are ideal for keeping your things in great condition. Climate-controlled spaces are typically found indoors but some locations do offer drive-up climate-controlled spaces as well.
Your stored belongings need to be covered, and you can do that either way.
A protection plan is required unless you provide valid proof of homeowners or renters insurance that covers stored property. Bring that proof when you move in and no plan is needed.
We offer three plans. Our most popular is $16.00 per month for $3,000 of coverage. There is also a $14.00 plan covering $2,000 and an $18.00 plan covering $5,000, so you can match the cover to what you are actually storing.
